Management

Oriented towards effective and sustainable results, the senior management team is composed of Carmen Bahrim, Mario Kostov and Catalin Elisei.

Carmen Bahrim

Carmen Bahrim has joined BNP Paribas Cardif team in early 2006. She has brought a personal contribution to the development of the company on the Romanian market by setting up the green field operations and identifying new business opportunities.

With an educational background in cybernetics and in business law, Carmen began her career in management consulting services with one of Big 4, her expertise including business strategy and change management. Later, she started as the project manager for the implementation of the green field operations of a British life insurance company in Romania and left the company 6 years later as a member of the Council of Administration in charge with business development.

Carmen has an important contribution to the development of bancassurance in Romania: she was part of the team who signed the first bancassurance partnership on the local market in 2001 and lead the team who implemented the first CPI partnership in Romania in 2003.

Mario Kostov

Mario Kostov is the representative of the Romanian and Bulgarian branches of Cardif Assurance Vie and Cardif Assurances Risques Divers. Mario Kostov is professionally connected with the insurance industry for more than 18 years now. He has a master degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. Later he has studied in Richard Ivey School of Business in London (Ontario, Canada) and the Chartered Insurance Institute in London, UK.

Catalin Elisei

Catalin Elisei graduated the Finance, Insurance and Banks Faculty within the Economics University, Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iasi.

With more than 10 years of experience in the insurance field, he has activated in different activity areas: direct sales, training, products development and bancassurance.
