In case of unemployment

Necessary documents for the registration of a person meeting the conditions for the granting of the unemployment indemnity:

  1. Identity card, in original and copy;
  2. Studies and qualification documents, in original and copy;
  3. Marriage certificate, in original and copy;
  4. Medical certificate, attesting that the person is able to work or that he/she has certain medical constraints
  5. Documents issued by the territorial financial authority, attesting that the person does not obtain any revenues or that he/she obtains revenues, from authorized activities according to the law, which are smaller than the unemployment indemnity.
  6. Own responsibility statement attesting that he/she is unemployed, does not obtain any revenues or that he/she obtains revenues, from authorized activities according to the law, which are smaller than the unemployment indemnity

Besides the documents mentioned above which must be submitted by all the categories of people requiring the unemployment indemnity, the request for the granting of the unemployment indemnity will also be accompanied by:

  1. In case of persons who become unemployed while working:
    1. Work book, in original and copy, or, in case the work book had not been drafted, a certificate issued by the employers and endorsed by the Territorial Labour Inspectorate, stating the activity periods, as well as the date and reason for which the work relation had ceased, issued by the last employer.
    2. A copy of the final decision regarding the reinstatement to work, when the reinstatement is no longer possible with the unit where the person had worked before due to a final termination of the activity or with the unit which took over its patrimony.
    3. Proof attesting that the reinstatement to work is no longer possible due to a final termination of the employer's activity, that is a certificate from the unit which took over the patrimony of the unit where that person had been previously employed, attesting the dissolution of his/her workplace.
    4. Own responsibility statement of the person looking for a job, in case this one cannot obtain the proof attesting that the reinstatement to work is no longer possible due to a final termination of the employer's activity, this one being afterwards verified by the local employment agency.
    5. Certificate envisaged in art. 18 of the Methodology Norms for the appliance of Law no. 76/2002 regarding the unemployment insurance system and stimulation of employment, approved by Government Decision no. 174/2002, with all its subsequent modifications and completions.
  2. In case of disability retirement, people recovering their work capacity:
    1. Work book, in original and copy, or, in case the work book had not been drafted, a certificate issued by the employers and endorsed by the Territorial Labour Inspectorate, stating the activity periods, as well as the date and reason for which the work relation had ceased, issued by the last employer.
    2. The decision regarding the medical revision, in original and copy, issued by the social security specialised doctor, attesting the recovery of the work capacity.
    3. A certificate from the last unit or proof from competent authorities, attesting that the reinstatement to work is no longer possible due to the lack of a vacant workplace similar to the one previously occupied or due to the final termination of the employer's activity.
  3. C. In case of persons whose work relations stopped during the suspension period:
    1. Work book, in original and copy, or, in case the work book had not been drafted, a certificate issued by the employers and endorsed by the Territorial Labour Inspectorate, stating the activity periods, as well as the date and reason for which the work relation had ceased, issued by the last employer.
    2. Proof attesting that it is no longer possible to resume his/her activity with that employer.
    3. Own responsibility statement of the person looking for a job, in case this one cannot obtain the proof attesting that the reinstatement to work is no longer possible, this one being afterwards verified by the local employment agency.
    4. Document attesting the date and reason for which the work relation had been suspended.
  4. In case of persons who closed an insurance contract for unemployment:
    1. Copy of the unemployment insurance contract, closed with the employment agency close to their home.
  5. In case of graduates, aged minimum 16, who within a period of 60 days since the graduation did not succeed in getting employed according to their professional background
    1. Graduation diploma, in original and copy.
    2. Own responsibility statement of the graduates that they are no longer studying at the date when requesting their right.
  6. In case of graduates of special schools for handicapped persons, aged minimum 16, who did not succeed in getting employed according to their professional background
    1. Graduation diploma of the special school for handicapped persons, in original and copy.
    2. Own responsibility statement of the graduates that they are no longer studying at the date when requesting their right.
  7. In case of persons who performed their military service:
    1. Military license or discharge certificate, in original and copy.
    2. Own responsibility statement that before performing the military service that person had not been employed.
    3. A certificate issued by the specialized services supplier for the employment stimulation, attesting the date when that person was registered in its files, in case that person had registered himself in view of mediating his employment with a specialized services supplier for the employment stimulation, approved according to the law.

With the above-mentioned documents, those persons will go to the Employment Agency close to their home, and based on the elaborated file, these ones will benefit from the unemployment indemnity, according to the law.
