Law no. 136/1995

Law no. 136/1995 regarding the insurance and reinsurance activity in Romania establishes the insurance categories, depending on the insurance classes – life insurance and general insurance – and depending on the legal nature, it is optional or mandatory.

Also, it regulates the insurance contract in its main issues, both from a general point of view and from a particular one, depending on the insurance category.
